Let's see, what's been going on...
Two Girls has gotten back together with a couple new band members. These guys are quite possibly my favorite band to have played with. It's probably a tied with Two Girls and Decadent Nation. Check out their page here. You can stream all their music from the site...something that would be nice for our page... They really know how to Rock!
Not Just Noise is...practically dead. If NJN were incarnated into flesh form, we would be the wheezing, liver spotted, moth-ball smelling, near-corpse of...well someone weezing and smelling of moth balls and covered in liver spots. Defunct is really the best adjective to describe us right now. Ever since Tim has moved to Columbia my bass hasn't left the basement and we've had 1 practice with me playing lead in Tim's place. That pretty much sums up the past 3 months of NJN.
Oh yea, and we're playing a show this Saturday (the day after my birthday) for some Fenton Days Car Show or something. I mean, just consider how bad we're going to sound after having not played together for 1/4 of the year.
Gump and Nancy broke up, and nobody knows what to think or how to act around 'em because everyone really likes Nancy. That, and Gump is allegedly hanging out with another ex who none of us really like, and who apparently never liked us. Hmmm...fishy...but none of my business...Matthew is the dirt-digger-upper.
I helped move Laura back into school a couple weeks ago, and I miss my sister. I never really think about how much time we share when she's home, and when she's gone it's like my best friend is gone too. She came home for Labor Day, and that was fun and all but I probably won't see her for a few weeks.
