Wow no posts since July
Time really flies when you are getting old. I say old but really how do you gauge what is old? From time to time recently I find Jamie and myself driving around and constantly yelling, 'fucking kids' at these young kids who don't know how to drive. Maybe I just don't have a tolerance for bad drivers.
Our wedding is 9 months away, which both of us would be extatic about expect for the fact that we have to plan and pay for it ourselves. I know it will all work out and somewhere down the line this wedding will become the wonderful thing it is supposed to be. Probably after we get it paid for and that weight will be off our shoulders.
Christmas really snuck up on me this year. I mean it came and went in the blink of an eye. I enjoyed every bit of it, but still felt like it was all fleeting. I think of Christmas when I was a kid and I'd have all that time off, playing with new toys and games, away from school or even perish the thought...work. Even though I was lucky to get a couple days with my family, it just doesn't seem like enough.
What did parents say when we were kids? Enjoy your youth. Don't grow up too fast.
